There are lots of times I wish I could receive Communion more than once a day, but am instructed that can only be once a day. “Day” means what? 24 hrs.? If I receive on Sat. Eve. Vigil (4:p.m.) and again at Sun. 7 a.m., that’s only 15 hrs. Think the day will ever come when we could receive more than once a day? All the Priests, etc. can receive many times; they’re the lucky and honored ones, and rightfully so . Jus currious about this situation.

Actually, you are allowed to receive Holy Communion every time you attend a Mass.

You have been misinformed. We are allowed to receive Holy Communion two times in a day, as long as the second time occurs in a mass. Thus, you could attend two masses in one day and receive at both; or you could receive at a communion service and later that day receive at a mass; but you could not receive at a mass and later that same day receive at a communion service.

Actually, you are allowed to receive Holy Communion every time you attend a Mass. There is no restriction barring you from attending multiple Masses in one day.
