Are Catholics obligated to receive Communion once a year at their home parish, or at any parish? thanks 🙂
 
The obligation is to receive at least once a year (during the Easter season). The obligation doesn’t include a notion of where that occurs (i.e., at your home parish or another Catholic parish).

Of course, this implies that the person receives worthily – that is, if a person is aware of mortal sin, then they need to go to confession before receiving communion…

There is only one God, no matter what parish you attend.
