Will the communion rails ever be back in the church? If you have ever received communion at an Anglican Catholic Church, they use the communion rail. Its a very reverent way of receiving communion.
Some churches still have them. Your pastor with possible approval from the bishop can always build one if he chooses. There was nothing in the Vatican II documents or the Vatican itself that ordered the communion rails to come down.
I guess I should have said the communion rails put back in and in use… meaning we all kneel at the rail for communion and receive the host from the priest on the tongue. Sure it takes longer, but it is such a devoted feeling… something so difficult to explain.
