I am wondering if it is a sin or sacrilege to take holy communion at a mass more than once per day. I want to commune more than once today as I am finding it gives me strength against temptation, but I am not sure if it is against the laws of the church.

Canon 916 - you can receive twice in one day (midnight to midnight) so you’re good to go!
