Communion service

Is it ok for women to conduct the Communion Service at the Catholic church?
 
Only if the following persons are not present
  1. Priest
  2. Deacon
  3. Instituted Acolyte
  4. Instituted Lector
Also, The communion service conducted by a layperson must be an unplanned event. (meaning it can only be done if in the last minute when priest cannot show up for Mass) Scheduled communion services are not supposed to happen. A good example for my parish was on sept 11 2001. Our priest was out of state and he felt that our parish needed to do something during the course of the tragedy so he called our parish deacon and told him to have a communion service. Quite a few people showed up for that service just seeking comfort.

Most people use the term ‘Communion Service’ and not ‘Sunday Celebration in the Absence of a Priest’ so you have to be careful when you make the statement that it must be ‘unplanned’. There are communities in North America who don’t have Mass for weeks and even months at a time and have a ‘Communion Service’ every Sunday, so very much planned. In fact, we’re planning the one for this coming Sunday right now. When our Pastor returns, the parish where he was ministering over Easter will be getting ready for their next 3 months of Communion Services.

yes if she has been delegated and trained for it by the pastor and there is no deacon available, this is answered in one of those quick answers you can access in the Q&A box on the CA homepage

Not necessarily true. It can be a planned event on Sundays if there is no regularly available priest. And it can take place during the week with the permission of the Ordinary.
 
Unfortunately there are many parishes without resident priest, lead by parish administrator. About half of the administrators are women.

It can be changed only if you are young men, than to go to seminary and prepare may be God wil call you with the voice of the ordaining bishop, or if you are parent to rise your sons toward the priesthood.
