Has anyone ever got sick from the miniscule amount of gluten from the host?
So, why should the person who is concerned about catching something from the chalice gets to go in front of everyone else, which means your germs are okay to pass to the person behind you. What if there are 2 or 3 concerned parishoners? They all can’t go first. Do they do “paper, rock, scissors” to see who gets to go ahead?
What if I’m “alchohol intolerant”? Could that tiny sip of wine during mass send me off on a bender?
And the incence, that stuff will kill you…
