Communion with Dirty Hands - Excommunication Question

Hi guys I have been stressing out recently about a question of excommunication. I understand there are automatic excommunications, one being desecration of the eucharist. I would never intentionally do this ever. But I was wondering because I went to mass last week and before mass I had gone to the bathroom, and admittedly not washed my hands, but I did receive in my hands. Now there was nothing visible on my hands and they seemed clean so I did not think much of it and I did receive communion on my hands. Would this count as desecration and if so would I be excommunicated?
 
I plan on it! I did not intend to, however I had thought about my hands not being washed and went to communion anyway, thinking they are not visibly dirty and had no intention of being disrespectful. But I did think that my hands could be still be dirty, but thought it was fine as I had touched doorknobs and shook hands with my family. So I guess what I am asking is, is it a sin to receive communion on your hand if you know you didn’t wash your hands or if they are a bit dirty?
 
You are fine if you Accept The Lord Our God in the Holy Eucharist in your heart.

Not only for our Lord but for your health.
 
You’re fine. But for heaven’s sake, wash your hands after using the bathroom! Your mother would be horrified 😂

Are you a scrupulous person?

It’s just I’ve never seen someone freaking out about automatic excommunication who wasn’t scrupulous.

But yeah, wash your hands after you use the bathroom. 🤢
