I hear and read that Protestants do not believe that Christians pray for us in heaven. This is not entirely true. I have heard some of them say that their mother is in heaven talking to Jesus about them.so they do believe in saints praying for us in heaven. So I have a question, have you heard the same thing?🙂

Every protestant I know who has lost someone close believes that person is somehow “looking over” him in heaven, with the implication that the person is able to render aid. How much aid could someone render if they can’t even pray for you?

I think most protestants actually believe in the Communion of Saints in their hearts, but won’t admit it to themselves.

I remember talking to a Protestant friend once who I was working with on a missionary trip. He asked about why we Catholics pray to saints and I began my answer by talking about how the saints can pray for us. I was about to go into Scriptural proofs for that, but he was just like, “Sure, my church teaches that.” And I was like, Oh, really? Well, good. Because it’s biblical, too. And then I moved into the next part of the proof, which I think was that the saints are sometimes spoken to in several psalms and other prayers in Scripture. But that was the first time I had heard of a Protestant church teaching that the saints in heaven pray for us.
