“Tibetans are mad about God,” this article reports. Fervent Catholics in remote areas of Tibet remain. After the Communists took over, all their priests were taken away for 50 years, churches were closed and people could be jailed for having religious objects. But these Catholics “did not lose a single word of the century of the father’s teaching,” of the priests they had had before. Now the Catholic Church is reviving and growing in numbers there.
