In a way yes, but the sniper bullet wasn’t born willingly out of love for humanity to open wide the gates of heaven for repentant sinners. That would be the difference.

Edit: that and the difference in function between this and a museum.

I’ve heard similar arguments about the cross, but the fact remains that Our Lord chose that “backward” time to be crucified because He had a reason for elevating/sanctifying the horror of execution by crucifixion. His cross is portrayed on top of His Sacred Heart because He still feels the weight of unrequited love from those He died for. The bible also says to take up one’s cross and follow the Lord, which means to carry out one’s Daily Duty, as God has a plan for us.

If one puts together the revelations regarding devotions to particular aspects of Our Lord’s Sacred Passion, one comes up with a wholistic devotion to HIm. His soul’s feeling of abandonment in the Garden of Gethsemane; the tortures He endured for us; the Sacred Head and Crown of Thorns; the Holy Face; the Shoulder Wound; all of the wounds from His scourging; the Five Holy Wounds; and the Precious Blood. No one in the history of humanity has ever suffered like that, and nobody else ever will.
