I know that the Church emphasizes the importance of commutative justice–where you have to “fix” the wrongs you’ve done by repairing reputations, paying people back, etc. How does that work in the following two situations?
1.) If I violated a copyright on music by burning a CD or downloading a video, is it enough to destroy/discard the CD or computer file?
2.) If I published something that was partially plagiarized several years ago, how is it even possible to “fix” that wrong? In other words, to what length do you have to go to fix wrongs done a long time ago?
