I was looking at companies who support abortion and there is a big list of them, does this mean I shouldn’t buy anything that they make? Its virtually everything!! Tostitos, gerber baby, johnson and johnson, etc… Can anyone let me know how they handle this and how they also handle things if they invest, what companies are good to invest in If i have investments and which ones should I stay away from because they support abortion?

here is the list I found:

:hmmm: You know what I’ve always found ironic. Disney supporting the abortion agenda. I think it’s a little counter-intuitive. Disney is supporting the procedure that cuts their profit margin. But, also consider that Disney has always been anti-motherhood. Think Bambi or Cinderella. Either the mother dies or she’s already dead. Makes you think. :hmmm:

But, in regards to whether or not to support companies that are pro-abortion, I would say that it is up to you. But I do urge you to pray for the Holy Spirit to sweep this land and change the hearts of His children. Also, pray for those little innocents. :gopray2:

Kaily, you got me thinking, apart from my usual sarcasm, for a moment. What if we could convince every pro-life Christian from every denomination to purchase a small number of shares of a selected publicly-traded company? Isn’t it feasible to think that we’d be able to change the policies from within, while making some money. :hmmm: Imagine if say 100 million pro-life Christians each bought 5 shares of Pepsi or Coke or Disney or something like that. Wouldn’t our voices be heard as shareholders? Just a thought.:o

You know,
where there’s a WILL, there’s a WAY.
When African Americans and others wanted U.S. companies to DIVEST from South Africa in the 1980s,
they organized, put pressure on those companies,
and by gosh, every one of those companies eventually capitulated and pulled OUT of South Africa.

There has got to be a way that Godfearing people can band together as one and FORCE corporate America’s hand.

Make an effort to not buy those products and tell them why.

They understand 1 complaint is reflects about 16,000 consumers.

Don’t forget Snow White, Pinnochio and Alladin. 😉

After looking at all these lists, I think I will just go to a cave and become a hermit and pray. There is virtually no one who doesn’t support destroying life in some way.

Lord have mercy!
We have to change their heart one company at a time. Start with the biggest. When they capitulate a ripple effect happens.

See what happens with Merry Christmas this year. Many other companies will start saying Merry Christmas again. 🙂

When times look dark and things seem grim, like now, we should really try to remember that, as Christians,

We have already won.

We’re not going to rest on our laurels, we are going to continue to fight, but we must be secure and confident that good will triumph ultimately.

Last year, whenever a store clerk wished me “Happy Holidays” or “Season’s Greetings” I made a point of responding with “Merry Christmas”. Almost always, the reply to that was “Merry Christmas to you, too!”

We try and boycott them whenever we can. It’s not always possible but we do our best.

The most important thing is to let them know you are displeased and that we will not give them money if at all possible. When enough people write them and say “I have six kids and I’m not happy” dollar signs will go off in their heads. It’s worked with some companies already. They won’t know, however, unless you tell them

Peace,
