Company boycott

I was recently informed that my favorite coffee company, Starbucks, is promoting the legalization of so-called gay marraige as a corporate wide stance. They have regionally supported it in the past, but now it is a world wide company stance.

I enjoy starbucks and coffee is my drink of preference, and i want to do something to voice my opinion. I want to write them a letter and voice my opposition to the company, but should i go so far as to boycott them all together?

Advice would be nice.

I guess that depends on how effective you think your activism in such a boycott would be. Perhaps it would be better for every coffee drinker to write them a letter stating how immoral they find gay marriage. But, if you want to take a stronger stance then boycott. In the end, Starbucks is wealthy enough that I don’t think they’d change their position over a minority of people boycotting them.
