David, Tony, Art,

As we approach the eve of the month of fasting, I just wanted to say that I love you so dearly and I will be praying fervently for each of you to continue your services to our Lord, in removing misunderstandings, in shedding light upon places where there is darkness and in promoting the oneness of God, religion and humanity wherever you reside. May your services rendered bring forth greater tests as we “sacrifice our candle wax in order to allow the flame to give it’s light”

To all my Catholic, Hindu, Muslim, and non-Catholic friends, you all are dearly loved and cherished for the love that you all have in your own sacred hearts for our one God. May you forever be enkindled with His spirit. You can be assured that during this sacred Baha’i month, you will all be named individually, in remembrance, as I kneel before my Lord in prayer and supplication.

God bless you all.

Kam .
Prayers for you Kam, David and Arthra and all our Forum Friends. As The Sun rises on the first day of this 19 day Fast, may the rays penetrate our hearts to offer service to humanity on a worldly scale as like never before.

Love to all Regards Tony

Great ~ Just what we need - another Bahai’ thread ~
Yes well noted, the more the merrier 😉

Please feel free to start one or post and ask a question, any question.

We are happy to be here.

Regards Tony

And that is one of the biggest gulf between Christianity and Islam/Bahai faith.
Eric - The only Gulf is the one we have not attempted to cross to see what is on the other side. If we do jot cross we will always say that our side is best when in reality there is beauty in it all.

Also the holes one pokes is but in an ocean of water, when you remove the finger the water but again closes over and the Ocean of Truth is only momentarily parted.

The arguments used are but the same arguments used against the Manifestations/Prophets of the past. They do not stop Gods Word from progressing to its timely potential.

The 2300 year Prophesy of Daniel ties exactly to the 1260 Revelation Prophecy. There are no holes but what one digs themselves. But will notbrehash this, as each has free will to have a fair look at this. Of course if you have an answer before you start, you will not be looking for a new answer.

Regards Tony

Sincerest apologies but It’s not another Bahai thread.

I had questions I couldn’t answer on other threads so I had to create one to answer the questions put.

One question was, was Muhammad in the Bible. Another question was what did Baha’is understand about Jesus was He God or not.

So I had to create a thread and make it general so these questions could be answered.

Talk about anything you like but any questions about anything will be answered according to the poster’s religious background. So Catholics will give their understanding of a topic from a Catholic viewpoint, Hindus from a Hindu viewpoint and Baha’is from their viewpoint.

If you have a particular subject and don’t want Bahai viewpoints or discussion from Baha’is then maybe you can create a thread on that topic and politely ask Baha’is not to post and we will respect that 100%.

Jesus is the only Savior and Redeemer this world has.

if you all think you need something beyond salvation and redemption, i expect there will be much senseless and meaningless writing to follow.

Althought this event seemingly occurred in the time of Jesus, there is also a wider meaning that Christianity will deny Christ 3 times once as Muhammad, another as the Bab and thirdly as Baha’u’llah and this prophecy has been fulfilled also as Muhammad, the Bab and Baha’u’llah have all been foretold in the Bible.

.
The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me?” Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, "Feed my sheep.

Dear Martin,

The question was about Muhammad being in the Bible and so I quoted the section dealing with Islam. Otherwise it would take an entire volume to go through the the entire Revelation of 22 chapters.

Then you need a book explaining the Book of Revelation from beginning to end.

It’s our Book too.
No. You have to start Revelation from the start. If you love Jesus that’s the ONLY way to give him all the honour and Glory he deserves. The Church suffered to put all this together FOR the CHURCH a community of believers.

Are you ready?

MJ

And he said, I tell thee, Peter, the cock shall not crow this day, before that thou shalt thrice deny that thou knowest me.

To be truly Baptised a Christian needs to accept all God’s Revelations and Manifestations otherwise it is only an outward Baptism, a ceremony but not a true Baptism with fire the fire of the spirit. The same applies for Jews and Muslims and Baha’is.
So the wider meaning is that because Peter died a Martyr and a Saint… all of Christianity died as Martyrs and as Saints…right ?

By born again here is meant spiritual Baptism not just outward Baptism and this is required whenever a Revelation comes from God. For instance the Jews, when Christ came failed to be born again into His faith so have no spiritual life although outwardly they pray and worship.

Luke 22:34

The Hindus, Buddhist and Jews don’t accept Muhammad, the Bab and Baha’u’llah, was it because of Peter denying Christ 3 times also ?

That’s not what Jesus says. That’s just your personal rules.

All humanity is supposed to become one Faith so they are included of course. That was a specific prophecy for the Christians though as it was told to Peter.

What does the Church teach about the Second Coming and the end of the age?
Most religions have ceased to believe anymore in the return of their Teacher etc and lost interest.

Its often been said that the Book of Revelation is a dangerous book. Your comment proves why it is

It’s not a dangerous Book and we know it’s meanings. For a Baha’i the Book of Revelation is further proof the Bible IS the Word of God. Whereas those who do not have the keys to unseal the meanings are left in confusion to us it’s a very clear unsealed Book and we are 100% absolutely certain we know it’s meaning.

And it’s so besutiful and perfect.

The issue may be no one can have another correct interpretation on that anymore as the promised event has been made manifest as the mid day sun.

What is interesting is The Thread End Times Speculation that has been running on CAF since around 2008 for 10s of thousands of replies.

Each day another post another sign with posters saying it will happen soon because of this and because of that and basically Bla Bla Bla the destruction and end of world will be soon forums.catholic-questions.org/showthread.php?p=13709557#post13709557

One day they will have to sit down and really consider if it has happened…maybe consider the signs are now of our rejection and no longer expectation.

Regards Tony
