There’s no glossing over.

The truth is being told.

if Christ said Krishna and Buddha were Manifestations of God you would accept it because you know He speaks infallibly. You wouldn’t need proof. The Word of God would be enough.

The same with Baha’is. We are told that all those Manifestations were sent by the same God and taught the oneness of God but their teachings either became lost or/and distorted but that they all taught the truth.

What is being presented here is a wrong list of supposed teachings. Which are false. Krishna did not teach pantheism according to Baha’u’llah. Buddha taught the oneness of God and was not an agnostic. Zoroaster did not teach a good and a bad God but one God.

Relying more on unreliable unproven records than a Manifestation of God of course you’re going to get contradictions.

Where are you sourcing your contradictions from a Manifestation or just upon ‘existing records’ not taking into account lost records. If Christ Himself told you there was no contradiction between them would you accept it? Despite the world saying differently? Of course. The same with Baha’is. It all comes down to WHO WAS BAHAULLAH???

Jesus never said anything about Zoroaster except we know the Magi saved His life. Never said anything bad about Buddha. Didn’t He know? Or Krishna didn’t He know? Of course He did but He never said anything derogatory about Therm so it’s wrong for Christians to just assume they were not Manifestations of God.
The Bible is all about the condemnation of false idols and false Gods… do I have to look them up now ?

The baha’is claim that baha’u’llah is the fulfillment of the biblical prophecies of the return of Christ.Taken literally, of course, the biblical prophecies of Christ’s return do not fit baha’u’llah. The Bible speaks of Jesus Himself returning in the skies before the entire world in a cataclysmic fashion to judge the living and the dead (Matt. 24). By contrast, Baha’is recognized as the “Christ” another person (baha’u’llah) who came into the world in relative obscurity through natural means (conception and birth).
How, then, can the baha’is claim that bah’u’llah fulfills the biblical prophecies of Christ’s return? They can do this only by insisting that the literal meaning is to be ignored. According to baha’i doctrine, Jesus’ description of His second coming in the Bible should be understood spiritually rather than literally. That is, the text of the Bible is said to have some symbolic meaning which is contrary to the ordinary meaning of the words used.
Literal, literal, literal…

1 Cor 2:13 This is what we speak, not in words taught us by human wisdom but in words taught by the Spirit, explaining spiritual realities with Spirit-taught words. The person without the Spirit does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God but considers them foolishness, and cannot understand them because they are discerned only through the Spirit.

🤷

Don’t see anything about “literal” meanings spoken by Paul…not once…

Jesus said He would come like a thief in the night. And to watch and pray.

So Christians should be prepared for a thief style second coming as well and all Baha’is are saying is the ‘Thief’ came and went while you were asleep.

Will Jesus come in the sky or as a thief

Here is a PDF booklet asking just this question

You’ve never shared these passages before Techno.

Can you please tell us all the things the Bible says about false prophets…pleeeeeeaaaaseeee…

If this is one false teaching in the Baha’i religion, I wish to know how you KNOW that Buddha and Krishna taught what they did about God?

Why would God create a Religion that could be completely distorted by it’s own followers ?

It means only the Divine can know the Divine. The blessed in Heaven know the Father through Jesus, but they can never comprehend God completely because they aren’t Divine.
Thankyou for finally answering this.

So unless you ae Divine, you cannot know God completely, meaning humans can NEVER know God completely since we are not Jesus, who was Divine, correct?

.

That’s a bit like saying, why would God create human beings, only for them to sin…

Human beings are made with FREE WILL Techno…we FAIL…God doesn’t create a distorted religion, human beings DISTORT due to our ego and pride, and innocent fallibility!

He would be mírzá husayn-`alí núrí who died on May 29, 1892

How do you know Jesus knew of Buddha,Krishna? Wheres the Scripture Jesus mentioning them?

“so it’s wrong for Christians to just assume they were not Manifestations of God”
Who are you to tell Christians they are wrong. Who are you to tell us we are wrong to believe in the New Testament and Scripture.

Matthew 24:11
Many false prophets will arise; they will deceive many,

Matthew 24:24
for false Christs and false prophets will arise and provide great signs and portents, enough to deceive even the elect, if that were possible.

I never use the Old Testament on y’all… don’t make me do it. 😃

Why are Christians told to ‘watch and pray’ if it’s a physical descent from the sky and ‘every eye shall see Him’??

Every eye? Which eye? Inward or outward eye? Eye of our hearts or minds? 'Shall see Him" Instantly? In 10 seconds, 5 years, 200 years? Doesn’t say. This is where wrong Interpretaions enter in.

But Christ does say that His Coming can be missed. So then the sky bit is not so literal as it looks if He can be missed.

There’s nothing wrong with questioning our own understanding of the Bible as we may be wrong.

The great Princeton theologian of the last century, Dr. Charles Hodge, said something which I have always thought is worth remembering. He said that though the Old Testament is filled with some 333 prophecies concerning the first coming of Christ; in spite of that, nobody got it right.

And as you know, they crucified Christ because of a misunderstanding about what the Messiah was really coming to do. And we should because of that be somewhat humbled and modest in our attempts to interpret prophecies concerning the second coming of Christ. It is quite possible that all of us [Christian leaders] are wrong as well. (I shall come again)

But it’s too late now to fix these ruin Religions, so we have to just accept their flawed teachings ?

Wrong. Jesus knew that he had to suffer death but will rise again. Fulfillment of Scripture.

"I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am who I am.

No, that is WHY God send His Prophets Techno.

We fail. God in His loving mercy to mankind renews religion to correct the distortions.

The distortion in Christianity is not heeding the advice of Paul in understanding the spiritual Truths in Scripture, but rather taking it all literally ONLY…

The Baha’i Faith is the fulfillment of that important teaching…

The followers of those religions say their religion is not distorted and is perfect.

But the Jews got it wrong. Jesus was just reiterating/prophesying that they would get it wrong. But they still got it wrong. Their free will was not bound by Jesus Words. Jesus knew how they would react but the decision was theirs alone. Free Will.

The final Prophet was John the Baptist. No way around that. But he was unfit to tie Jesus’ sandals. Who is the same, yesterday, today and forever.

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you.

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep, equip you with everything good for doing his will, and may he work in us what is pleasing to him, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Hebrews 13
