Remaining in Jesus’ love seems foreign according to the above it seems. No understanding of fulfillment. :sad_yes:

Thank God however The Church joy in Christ is a complete one. Fulfilled. Amen. 😃

MJ
I belong to the Church of Christ, the Word, not the Church of Jesus.

It embraces every human heart that ever lived.
Thankyou.

🙂

.

Absolutely.

Why would God stop talking to us Mike?

He has always done it throughout history to our ancestors. Why would He stop now?
He is an All-Giving, All-Loving Lord.

If you understood Christianity you would know that it is the Holy Spirit

So in the past God spoke to our ancestors through specific individuals called Prophets. They were the mouthpiece of God. One individual at a time.

Which individual does God speak to us through today. Who’s mouth is used?

.

As if it was necessary, but in any case might as well put this there:
Code:
Manifestation of God
The Manifestation of God is a concept in the Bahá’í Faith that refers to what are commonly called prophets. The Manifestations of God are a series of personages who reflect the attributes of the divine into the human world for the progress and advancement of human morals and civilization.[1] In the Baha’i Faith, it is believed that the Manifestations of God are the only channel for humanity to know about God, and that they act as perfect mirrors reflecting the attributes of God into the physical world.[2] Bahá’í teachings hold that the motive force in all human development is due to the coming of the Manifestations of God.[3] The Manifestations of God are directly linked with the Bahá’í concept of progressive revelation.

From wiki.

It’s clear. This what I meant insulated within the Bahai paradigm. 19th century creation.

Concept:
[kon-sept] noun
  1. A general notion or idea; conception
Notion:
[noh-shuh n] noun
  1. A view or belief
Not sure what you are implying but a concept is a framework by which Truth is captured.

This is similar to the concept of original sin, or the concept of the Trinity, however, the difference is that the Baha’i concepts were not created by men, they were created by the Mouthpiece of God Himself. One unique Prophet.

That “mouthpiece” was a man, correct?

Yes, He is not a mere human. He is the Incarnation of the Word.

I say "HE’ for God too, but God is Spirit, as we know, and God is not human either.

So whats in the shrine of Baha’u’llah? This same word that’s dead?

Flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom. The Word is very much alive.

We house the temporary body of Baha’u’llah in a Shrine as a reminder of His Divine Reality which descended from heaven and ascended to heaven, just like Jesus Christ.

You are from the Church of Thornton Chase. business man. 😉

How profound of you Martin. Again, we resort to mockery and slander.

If it wasn’t for Thornton Chase’s dedication and selfless service, no Baha’i literature would have been distributed to English-speaking countries.

Millionaire or not, it’s what you do with that money that matters. I would rather be a rich business man and expend all my riches on humanitarian and community development endeavours than a poor man with a sack of belongings to my name, yet panic when the sack is misplaced…

Matthew 19:23-24
Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Amen, I say to you, it will be hard for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven.
Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”

Dear Martin,

Just found this quote about Manifestations from Abdul-Baha. I find this rather fascinating.

*Thus there have been many holy Manifestations of God. One thousand years ago, two hundred thousand years ago, one million years ago the bounty of God was flowing, the radiance of God was shining, the dominion of God was existing.

(Abdu’l-Baha, Foundations of World Unity, p. 108)*

I didn’t slander him. Where? It is you who takes it that way. Strange.

But I think you realize where he goes wrong about Jesus.

Today’s Fast I dedicate to all the persecuted minorities in the world. May they find justice soon and an end to their oppression.

I hope this link is an acceptable one otherwise I’ll remove it but it’s so sad to see Christians suffer for their Faith.

opendoorsusa.org/christian-persecution/world-watch-list/

This is a Baha’i watch website. Just to see the real people instead of just numbers, I feel is very important for us. How could these innocent eyes be locked up for wanting to study?

All Human beings created by the same God. Denied justice for none other than having a belief.
