Compare Religions as steps to One God?

All religions keep us close to the Source, or Father. So, we MUST be Baptized and then accept other Blessed Sacraments to become HIS follower, and then be a part of the kingdom of Heaven. The others remain close to the Source, in a primitive way.

Yes it’s true, all are a path which intend to lead to the same goal. I say intend to, because some of those paths end up a bit backwards.

“God is Love (Agape)” (1 John 4:8).
The Law and Prophets are built on the Great commandments of Love (Mt 22:36-40).
They will know we are disciples by our Love (John 13:35)
Without Love all other virtues are meaningless (1 Cor 13:1-13)

…Therefore, any Faith system which recognizes Love (Agape) as it’s core needs to be assessed in a positive light.

Hi bakertamara: Could you elaborate if you would on whatever points you feel make one religion more sophisticated and another more primitive? What are the qualities that give one a more refined approach, understanding or relationship in regards to God, or is there some other measure by which one is considered more primitive and another less primitive?

Also, if you would, could you define the Kingdom of Heaven?

Your statement only holds true if you:

1.) Believe a person needs to be brought closer to their deity;

2.) Believe in sin.

3.) Believe that only those who live by these specified rules will rewarded.

If the concept of sin is foreign, baptism is unnecessary.

If a person doesn’t believe they have to earn heaven, then the sacraments also are unnecessary.

I have no idea what you are talking about when you reference “a more primitive way.”
