Is this going to be made available to read for free online, as is the CCC itself?
 
It is not yet available either on the Vatican’s or the USCCB’s websites. Whether at some time it will, I do not know.
 
It’s not really available from Amazon - I have had it on order since October. I think the ship date announced by the USCCB is March.

Yes, the date has been pushed back several times. The latest is March 31 2006

The Italian version is online (I don’t read Italian, but I’m guessing it was uploaded by a parish, rather than as an official effort)

The USCCB originally said they wanted this out in Summer 2005, then moved it to Advent 2005 and now it is finally (we hope) coming out in March of this year. Does anyone know why it has been so long delayed?

According to this note the USCCB has been waiting for the Holy See to provide the English text, rather than translating it themselves (through the ICEL).

Hopefully, this is a good thing.
