Why would something I wrote need to be approved by a moderator before it’s posted? I done used me some good grammars, so I ain’t need no moderatin.

The usual reason is that it contains a word on the naughty list. The last time it happened to me, it was triggered by this name:

@meltzerboy2 and @Irishmom2 bring up an important point about complaining in this thread. Since this thread is for complaining, we must not complain about people complaining.

There is an exception, however. If someone is complaining about someone complaining, they are wrong, and so it’s okay to complain about that. Therefore, we may complain about someone complaining about someone complaining.

It can similarly be shown that longer complaint chains are acceptable if they span an odd number of complaints, and are unacceptable for even numbers of complaints.

Lest this post run afoul of the rule (having zero complaints, an even number), I must complain that this rule was not made clear earlier.

Any complaints about any of this?

Of course there are complaints! What kind of thread would this be if the people here did not complain about the way other people complained about people complaining?

I bought a door at Home Depot. At first I wondered how they could sell such a beautiful door for such a low price. Now I know: Because it is junk. 😠
