I know some of you have this version. I’m wondering what you think of it?
Even though I own the JPS Tanakh, I thought owning a Messianic Jewish Bible would give me new perspective not only on the New Testament but also on salvation history.
I’m a little leary about purchasing this translation only because the OT is admittedly a paraphrase, which I hate. I could just purchase the NT and Psalms…but after seeing Christ’s cross being referred to as “execution stake,” it makes me kind of wonder…
