Complete list of Saints

Does anyone know where I could find a COMPLETE list of canonized Saints?
 
Not all saints have undergone formal canonization processes. All the saints of the Apostolic Age and before, as well as many in the early Church, are saints by popular acclamation. That is, their cult started with veneration in the local diocese where they died, and spread until they were being commemorated in the whole Church, or at least the majority of it. And then their names were entered in the Roman Martyrology. The latter document is the closest we will come to an exhaustive list of saints, but it is not available online. For an online resource, you may try something like the Patron Saint Index, which is searchable and has a large list. It is Roman Catholic-oriented, so it may be missing latter-day Orthodox saints.
 
This all brings up a new question. After reading the above posts about popular acclimation and such I much still ask this. Why hasn’t the church composed a list of all canonized saints along with those popularly accepted as saints?

I mean it is just so difficult to believe that no one has ever taken on this task.

I think it would be extremely difficult to do this. Looking back over the ages, only about a twentieth of the Church’s history has been in a time of modern communications. Especially in early Christian times, there were martyrs left and right. I don’t think it was exactly the most pressing issue at hand of that era for the Church to compile lists of saints and martyrs.
 
There is a website called books of the bible, they have a huge list of saints

Remember, the Church is everyone, You, me , all of us. I have not done it because, frankly, I am not intersted and have other things that I deem more important. Why have you not done it?😃

I am not bing critical or sarcastic. I am just trying to make a point.

Fr. Holweck’s Dictionary of the Saints (1924) has the most comprehensive listing (until that year) that I’ve ever seen (including saints from other churches that accept the Apostolic doctrine of the veneration of saints - these he identifies with an asterisk).

He includes local saints of the Western Church as well - a magnificent and intellectually satisfying resource that I’ve used for 30+ years.
