Obviously, there are some problems with vaccines, hence those people who have had bad outcomes for their children.
If one isn’t in contact with foreign travelers, and one doesn’t live in an area where folks travel overseas much , I don’t think NOT vaccinating would be a big deal. Probably a bigger problem would be the rhino & noro virus which run unchecked in schools. We don’t travel outside our local area, and the only person we know who’s been overseas in the past year is our priest. We see him on the altar and have almost no close contact with him.
