It’s not gibberish, it’s a well-established and perfectly respectable religion.

If we learn about other religions in the correct (humble and respectful) spirit such knowledge can only enhance our own Catholic faith and our practice of it.

How can a religion be perfectly respectable when its false? If something is false it must be a contradiction to say its respectable.
The Christian (Catholic) religion is the only true one.

So I would say it has to be respectful.

Giving respect to something or someone out of Christian charity does not necessarily mean the something or someone is respectable though.
