Hello, I recently viewed a six part series entitled “Ancient Roads from Christ to Constantine” by British history professor Jonathan Phillips from the Royal Holloway University of London. The series was aired on KCET CH. 28-2 in Los Angeles and was a repeat for the 2016 Easter season after originally being aired in March of 2015.
I was curious if anyone can comment on whether this series would be a good teaching tool for evangelizing for the Catholic Churches early roots and development. The documentary seems to be well produced, has an excellent musical score and does a good job of connecting historic events of the early Church Christ founded and details the lives of the Apostles and how they and the early Church fathers and martyrs influenced the society of their day. I am also curious if the research sited in the series is accurate?
