Don’t forget about Him! Always remember that the Holy Spirit is a Person of the Holy Trinity, too! Paraclete is constantly protecting us and interceding on our behalf. Every day that you wake up, every second that your brain functions or your heart beats, every moment that you praise God, and every time that we don’t at once get possessed and dragged down into eternal damnation for any mortal sins committed–are all graces of the Holy Spirit. Paraclete loves you with a greater intensity than all the saints, including the Blessed Virgin Mary combined. He’s delighted when we praise the Lord Jesus Christ, and saddened when we turn our backs to Him. Despite this, He is always there protecting us, guiding us, and patiently waiting for every lost soul to return to His loving embrace.
In addition to your normal prayers, try including a prayer to the Holy Spirit. Dedicate a moment of your day, even if it’s just a few seconds–to meditate on His love and plan for your life, and to simply talk to Him like you would any person that you adored and respected. As long as you set your heart on Jesus Christ and seek eternal unity with Him, the Holy Spirit in his humility will pardon the ignorance and neglect expressed towards His Personhood, and continue to work silently in the hearts of us Christians, He is, however, nontheless pleased when we too, praise Him and adore Him, as all men should.
Thank You, Holy Spirit for the most precious graces that you bestow upon us souls,
who far too often neglect thee and turn our backs to you through our iniquities.
Please be ever present in our lives and hearts, and continue to do your good work in our souls
that we may glorify you and fulfill your Holy will, now and forever.
