There is one at 9am at Old St. Mary’s in downtown Cincinnatti.
Its not bad, for sure the most traditional NO I’ve ever heard of.
Its all Latin, Ad Orientam, Communion rail, gregorian chant, polyphony, etc etc

Hi guys, first time poster here!

I was hunting around for more traditional services also and came across some great info.

There are priests who celebrate the sacrifice of the mass according to the ‘Roman Rite of the Catholic Church’ - as codified by Pope St. Pius V in his Bull ‘Quo Primum’ (1570).
Completely in Latin as per the Bull, altar rails, communion on the tounge, bells, altar instead of a table, you name it!

I live in New Zealand so I’m not sure where you might track them down, maybe something worth look into? 👍

Bastion is promoting a sedevacantist agenda, people. Don’t be fooled…

What are you talking about? He has not said or promoted any Sedevacantist positions. Just to test, Bastion, to which Holy Pontiff does your allegiance fall with and what is his name? Is Pope Benedict XVI the true Pontiff or not? If you deny him you are in schism.

Bastion posted a link to a sedevacantist web site in another thread. When questioned about whether this was done knowingly, Bastion affirmed that it was.

If this person should post again, I wanted to make sure this fact was known.

I don’t know the forum rules, but would not a Catholic member of this forum be required to be in communion with the Holy Pontiff Benedict XVI ?

The noon Mass at St. John’s in Stamford, Connecticut is one I have been to.

Notice also their St. Monica Institute for Patristic Studies and St. Gregory Institute for Sacred Music. That parish is one of the best around, IMHO. 🙂
