Condemned movies

Does the Church still condemn certain movies? I was reading an article about one movie that was condemned by the catholic church a few decades ago ( can’t remember the name, but i think it was like Hey baby or something), and it wasn’t porn or anything just a normal movie. And all the Catholics weren’t allowed to see it. Does this still happen?

what lol? Thats funny cause there are wayyy worse movies than w.e the one it condemned was.

Not back then though, i’m sure it had to be the worst of the worst if they condemned it. It was like in the 50’s i think.

I don’t know if they still do…they’d probably have to have a whole department devoted to checking movies and 99% would have to be condemned.
