Condition of dead bodies and final judgement day?

Ok, not sure if my title was the best but I wonder if anyone has an insight into the condition
of our bodies when we die and when we are resurrected with our glorified body?

What happens if you are eaten alive by a shark?

What if you were a victim of the 9/11 WTC attacks and blown to bits?

If you are an amputee, will your glorified body be an amputee as well?

If you die in such a way that you are nothing but bones, what happens then?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, but wonder if anyone can explain it in a way that makes sense?

Our new bodies are not literally made from the old bodies like that. Our new bodies will look like our old bodies but will be completely new, so the condition of the body at death doesn’t matter. All turn to dust anyway even if the body is whole at burial.

You believe in the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist but are having trouble imagining that God is able to reconstitute all the bits and atoms and cells and fragments of your dead body on the resurrection day?

1 Corinthians 15:42-44, 49, 51-53:

So will it be with the resurrection of the dead. The body that is sown is perishable, it is raised imperishable; it is sown in dishonor, it is raised in glory; it is sown in weakness, it is raised in power; it is sown a natural body, it is raised a spiritual body. . . . . . .

And just as we have borne the image of the earthly man, so shall we bear the image of the heavenly man. . . . . . . . . . . .

Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed—in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

What we sow (our dead bodies) as perishable, dishonored, and weak, we will reap in an imperishable, glorious, and empowered body. I’m not really seeing amputees or pieces of blown-to-bits in heaven. That would sort of take the “glory” out of the whole “glorified” bodies thing, wouldn’t you think?

Paul says that we will be “changed.” Change implies that we will not stay the same. We will be changed to reflect who and what we are, sons and daughters of God. We will not remain “earthly”, but we will be changed to the “heavenly.”

Presumably not, because it is generally believed that a glorified body will not have imperfections. But then again, the Lord works in mysterious ways.

If you die in such a way that you are nothing but bones, what happens then?

In that case, God will give you a glorified body.
