Condom use legitimate as contraceptive effect an unintended consequence?

Ok. I think I can understand now. It might make me feel better though, for pharmaceutical companies to market some of these pills purely by their chemical attributes, rather than as contraceptives and abortificants, so that women who actually do need chemical therapy can receive it without feeding demand for contraceptives. I think it would also make the process of treatment more streamlined.

But I still don’t think it’s justified for people to argue that some women need medical treatment which can be fulfilled by these pills, therefore the government should expand their availability. There’s plenty of men who have chemical problems as well, yet people are silent. I’d much prefer the government to stay out of it all together.

I sometimes wonder if doctors find it more convenient to prescribe “the pill” the way they do because they have handled so many samples in the format of “the pill” and not in vials of tablets, like ordinary pills. (the pill comes in this weird container with exactly 21 pills in it, and pharmaceutical reps come to doctor offices and drop off piles and piles of samples of whatever drug they are currently pushing).

I agree that there is no reason to focus on getting people “the pill” above other medical treatments.

I’m so glad that I chose dentistry over general medicine. I just wouldn’t be able to handle this kind of stuff, ha.
