No.On another note. If one was strictly against having children and wasn’t interested in them; would the church marry that couple?
No.If that couple received a civil marriage. Would the church recognize or sanction it?
They would be expected to refrain from receiving the Sacraments until their marriage was made valid in the Church (including acceptance of the possibility of children).And lastly. Would that couple who was married civilly be denied the sacraments?
