I believe that satan is accomplishing great damage through this modern path of relativity. In my short time here on CAF, I’ve seen posts attempting to justify porn, lap dancing, masturbation, homosexuality, and other such things. it seems that many Christians have taken that 60’s church saying of “hate the sin, love the sinner” and allowed it to slowly but surely expand into “accept the sin”.
We must fight discrimination and hatred, we must not perpetrate violence, we must not commit evil to fight evil . . . but this does not mean that we should begin questioning the teachings of God and Church. Shouldn’t 2000 years of thought and teaching mean more than one individual’s “I think” or “I feel”? I am continually amazed at how arrogant we can all be when we have come to a conclusion contrary to Church teaching and then espouse and advocate it! What self-idolatry.
The devil is prowling like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour (1 Pt 5:8).
We need to stop **condoning **immorality. Period. in our own lives and in the lives of others. That can lead to hard spots and difficult decisions, but it’s not really the same as being torn asunder, flayed alive, roasted alive, or crucified, is it?
How do others define the differences between condoning/not condoning/discrimination? Not for media or personalities or politicians, but you in your individual life?
