I have been away from them church my entire adult life, made a confession two weeks ago, was granted absolution for all my sins, but now that I am calming down from the euphoria, I am thinking about sins in my past I did not recount. Do I need to confess again? Can I receive communion?

Dear friend,

Welcome home! When we go to Confession, all our sins are forgiven, even the ones we have forgotten. If we should remember some that we didn’t mention, then we should mention them the next time we confess–not because they are have not been forgiven, but as an act of humbly expressing our sorrow for having committed them.
