Confessing forgotten sins

What are we supposed to do if we are pretty sure we committed a particular sin, but cannot remember the exact occasion?
For example, I’m pretty sure that at some point in the past month, I’ve participated in inappropriate jokes, but I can’t remember actually doing it and I’m not totally certain that I did it. Maybe like 98% certain.
Would it be ok to confess it as a doubtful sin just for the sake of not worrying about it?

If the priest wants to know more, he’ll ask.

Yes, just mention what you did it. Gods knows when and where. If we remember a sin, we must confess it.
