This priest says some very practical things.

doesn’t really help anything other than basically boiling it down to, well it could be worse, you could be doing something far worse on top of etc.

how is one supposed to overcome other sins if they are stuck on any one particular sin over and over and over.

just keep trying, hope for the best, expect the worse.
 
I doubt the priest even remembers.
And if you do anonymous confession he totally doesn’t remember

Well, to me it’s like cleaning a house.

On the one hand you need to steam clean the carpet once or twice a year. But you know that the dishes are going to be an every day thing because you dirty them every day, and the sheets need changing and washing every week.

Somehow you get all of it done - it’s not like you can’t possibly focus on more than one chore!

Thanks very much .

I really needed to hear that .

Father Mike was addressing my condition , even my sins .

The Holy Spirit spoke to me in a very personal way through that video .
