It’s been awhile since my last post but this is something I wanna hear some opinions on.
If Confession opportunities become scarce or not possible to people what should they do if I they fall into mortal sin and fear they’ll die?
I assumed have the intention to go to Confession once you are able pray the Act of Contrition. Also pray God guides you to Perfect Contrition

I usually find myself feeling I have to go to Confession weekly  (I struggle with mortal sins and kinda feel like I always enter a state of it)and if things become more restrictive and especially with older priests at great risk I fear it’ll be hard to get Confessions
I understand God knows and Understands our hearts, intentions, and situations so perhaps I’m not doomed😂

What do you think?

You should be able to call your priest and go to confession.

Use the screen to protect both of you from the virus.

The Pope himself has said that priests should minister to people WITH the Coronavirus, so priests should still be willing to hear confessions.

With that said: if you find a priest who will not hear confessions, pray for him and call another priest/parish.

God Bless & Godspeed.

Yeah I’m gonna try to get one today and keep my act together.
Just worried I’d Quarantines and what not happen and make it difficult

Around here, the Bishop canceled masses but specifically stated confessions are yo continue as scheduled, but only behind a screen. No face to face

At this stage it’s business as usual for confessions as far as I’m aware but always remember that if you are unable to access the sacrament (for whatever reason) an act of perfect contrition - expressing your sorrow to jesus for your sins because of his limitless love for us along with your intention to amend your ways and seek sacramental confession as soon as feasible.
