Today before Sunday mass there is confession available at a Maronite Catholic Church, their bulletin says they are in full communion with Rome. Is it okay to go there for the sacrament of confession as a Roman rite Catholic?

As far as I am aware, yes. Attending one of their masses also counts as fulfilling the Sunday obligation.

The Maronite Church is an Eastern Catholic Church and is part of and in full communion with the worldwide Catholic Church. Feel free to attend.

Does the Maronite confession ritual differ from the Latin Rite ritual - method of confessing, absolution, etc?

Wow! The title I saw which caught my interest said, Dolphin confession at Maronite Church. I can see all those beautiful dolphins just lined up for confession . If only I was an artist. Have a blessed day. 😊

A Maronite Catholic Parish may be treated the same as a Latin Catholic Parish - although special rules apply to the sacraments of Christian Initiation. The Liturgical language is usually Syriac - so you’d better check that Confession is in a language you understand.

Absolutely! My cousin was married in a Maronite Catholic church.

It would be . . . unusual . . . to find a Maronite priest sent to the US without being quite fluent in English (and probably three or four more languages!).

The parish here has one Qurbano in primarily Arabic, and another in primarily English. The Anaphora will be in Aramaic in either case . . .

Confession is also highly unlikely to be in Syriac, unless the penitent is a Maronite priest who chose to confess in it. As you may know, Syriac died out amongst ethnic Maronites in the seventh century- it was replaced by Arabic. No one speaks it anymore.
