Confession every week?

I was usually confessing once a week(because I was really fighting with one sin which is mortal).So to be ready for recieve Eucharist i was confess before Mass.
And know thanks to God,my last confession was 2 weeks ago because i didnt commit that sin.
And know I still didnt commit it.And i dont know should i go to confession at all?
I THINK that i didnt commit any mortal sin.
There are venial of course,but they Will be forgiven through mass.

I read about advice of John Paul and Padre Pio that they suggest to confess once a week.
But i think I am having only venial sins.So what would you do?
Just cuorious…And how often are you going to confession?

I go to confession when needed; I don’t try to keep a schedule. That said, if it’s been 6-8 weeks, I try to do a little more thorough examination of conscience to make sure I don’t need to be going.

I try to go every week. Why?
Because confession is like washing a soul. Just like if you are using your car it gets dirty every week, that’s how soul gets “dirty” not only from your venial sins, but also from the influence of the world, their sins and what you heard and saw, even unconsciously.
So yes, try to keep your soul fresh and clean.

Depends where you are at. If you have committed a mortal sin, you must confess it before receiving the Eucharist. To not do so is in most cases an even graver sin. Though even the saints confessed on a regular basis in the midst of even small and venial sin

I’m not sure if there’s enough priests for every Catholic to go to confession every week.

I hope we’re not delving into a scenario when confession is only for the “elite”, if you know what I mean.

I go every week. Just as @tomo_pomo said, its like cleaning your car. I started to go every week when I was fighting a serious addiction of mine. I go especially because Im a extra ordinary minister on Sundays, so even If I am on my best behavior Its always a good habit to go every week.
