I just got back from confession. I love the spiritual forgiveness, but I also have to admit its nice to hear the words of forgiveness physically and psychologically. Sin is not just spiritual. so the cure can’t be just spiritual. It was such a good experience.

In a strict sense, that is true. The Greek word for soul is “psyche.”

So yes, the sacraments are “psychological”.
