Confession: Must a cleric reveal that he is such?

I’m aware that a Priest or Deacon ought to tell the Confessor they are one, as it may help with the particular counsel the confessor might give.

However, what if it threatens anonymit,y which they are entitled to within the confessional?
 
While its helpful for the confessor to know that the penitent is clergy, its not required. It helps the confessor have a better understanding of the context of the particular sins but is not required unless the sin relates directly to clerical status.
