Confession pages and Gossip

I have seen a trend of confession pages appearing on facebook and the internet. Several of the “confessions” are raunchy and scandalous from what I have seen. I am wondering if they are considered gossip?
 
Confession something like postsecret.com?

I don’t think it’s gossip but it could be scandalous. Some time ago, I read on postsecret about a person who claimed that his father is a priest.
