I just recently visited family parish and went to confession after a year: I am a bit rusty on reparation, So I wanted to ask if anyone can help me on this question: I told the priest that I had not made 2 Sundays Holy, I was trying to listen to the priest and he said if i can quote" In reparation to communion, for the next Sunday Mass and for the following 2 that I had missed. I don’t know if that means to not take communion was I to take communion for that Sunday and the next two. 🤷

Maybe to offer Communion next Sunday in reparation for the two Sundays you missed???🤷

If you received absolution you are free to receive communion. I can’t imagine a priest telling someone in a state of grace not to receive. My guess is that he wants you to “offer up” the next few communions in reparation for your sins. You can do that by praying silently immediatly before or after communion and receiving reverently with the intention of making amends for the times you missed Mass.

Also, if you’re not exactly sure of what he meant, you can always ask to make sure of his meaning. For future reference, you can do this anytime you aren’t sure how to complete a penance (for instance, he assigns you to pray a prayer you aren’t familiar with).
