I had a dream this weekend that prompted me to remember something I did when I was a young girl. Do I need to confess this sin? It’s been well over 30 years and I’ve been to confession since.

Sins that we do not remember are also forgiven in confession. But it wouldn’t hurt to mention it when you go to confession the next time. Your confessor will help you. Give thanks to God that you are concerned about this “old” sin and want to be sure that the slate is clean!

Well, it won’t hurt to mention it next time you go to Confession. You can still go to Communion, though, if you’ve been to Confession for all the other sins you’ve committed of which you are aware, since you didn’t purposely leave that out of Confession (right?).I had a dream this weekend that prompted me to remember something I did when I was a young girl. It it was a mortal sin and it was not confessed Yes …mention it in the next confession…we are obliged to do so…I had a dream this weekend that prompted me to remember something I did when I was a young girl.
