The next opportunity you have to go to confession you must go, if you die before then God will forgive you but you must go to confession if you have the chance.
its ok, and the reason i cant is im 17 and and don’t have my license or a car and my parents wont drive me and also i do have a chance this Saturday i think do priest do confession after mass or do i have to schedule an appointment which also the only reason im going to mass is my parents pastor of their baptist church is taking me
I wouldn’t be surprised, if you called a local parish right now and explain your entire situation, if a priest himself would find some way to get together with you for confession. I know of many priests who would drive many miles to hear the confession of someone in dire need (which you seem to be). Pick up the phone and call - many parishes have after hours emergency numbers too. Call around. Use masstimes.org to find local parishes if you don’t know all of them in your area.

i may just wait to this Saturday if the Lord wills it , but i don’t wanna feel like a burden cause i have alot of request 
like i need some holy water, need my rosary beads blessed,need penance and need to talk to the priest about RCIA, do you think he will get mad by my many request? i dont wanna seem rudeI think the Lord wills you here to this website to get sound advice, which is still to not delay and go receive absolution from a priest asap. Put the holy water, rosary beads, rcia on the back burner. Now, if you are less concerned today than yesterday, it could be that you are being scrupulous. From where are you obtaining this notion? Lack of forgiveness of others is itself an unforgivable sin (if not repented of). But when we forgive others, it does not absolve us of all our sins.
Forgiveness of others is a prerequisite of a contrite heart in the confessional to receive absolution of mortal sin. Matthew 6:14 does not remove the necessity of sacramental reconciliation for mortal sin. It merely sets a prerequisite ascent of the will.

Agree with other posters. Talk to the parish! A priest will come to you if there’s no other solution. You don’t even HAVE to make an appointment for before/after this Saturday’s mass (although it would be polite to do so). I once grabbed a priest after stations of the cross on Good Friday and the priest had absolutely no qualms about making time to hear my confession before going to his next service. Priests know that the sacrament of reconciliation can be difficult for some to get to and is absolutely vital to the faithful!

No offense, Steve, but for someone who seems to feel confident in the mortal sin on their soul, you certainly seem to be making many excuses to not have to confess it as soon as possible. Perhaps I am splitting hairs and being too uptight about you waiting 3 more days to confess it. I don’t know. I’m sure your situation with disagreeable parents is most frustrating and distracting. I’m 42, so I have to work to imagine what it must be like for you at home. I have anti-Catholics in my family, but I’m at an age where it is trivial. For you, I’m sure it is not, and you must balance honoring them with obeying your Catholic conscience. Just remember to weigh the anger of your parents with the eternity of your soul. 3 or 4 days is probably not going to change things for you. However, your situation is a good example of how to prioritize your spiritual life. Steve, how confident do you feel that your sins are indeed mortal? Again, do not share details, just your confidence level.

about a 100%, and 1 of the reasons I’m putting it off is cause last night i asked forgiveness of my sins in prayer to God and should i still do confession anyways? and i really ain’t trying to make to many excuses I’m just in a pickle right now, i will talk to my parents tonight I’ve been thinking and I’ve decided i will put the will of God above the will of my parents
In a sense, yes. Now, I am no expert in this and perhaps others will chime in. What I do not claim to know is if the forgiving heart is a requirement for the absolution of ALL sins, including those unrelated to those from whom you are withholding forgiveness. I would assume so, however. I would not walk into a confessional without forgiveness in my heart.
There’s a lot more to confession than just telling a priest your sins and being forgiven. I hadn’t ever realized this.
Yes. If we could simply ask for forgiveness on our own, we wouldn’t have Confession. Futhermore, even if you did manage to muster Perfect Contrition, you still must go to Confession as soon as possible to confess those sins.
Call the parish, explain your entire situation. If having the priest come to your house would cause issues, but you can’t get to the Church because of a lack of transportation, the parish can likely work something out and get someone to pick you up to take you to the Church. If the priest refuses to go out of his was (and some will. Mine won’t hear confessions outside of his 30 minutes/month he schedules unless you’re on the verge of death) call another parish until something can be arranged. If every parish refuses to help you out, call the bishop and explain your dilemma. Priests are pastors of souls. If they have the faculties to hear confessions, they must do it unless they have a serious reason for why they can’t.
