If I confess a sin and someone asks me if I did that particular sin, and i said no would i be lying, or would it be the truth since I’ve confessed it?
Tell that person to mind his/her own business. Your sins are between you and your confessor, and God. No one else.If I confess a sin and someone asks me if I did that particular sin, and i said no would i be lying, or would it be the truth since I’ve confessed it?
Right on!Tell that person to mind his/her own business. Your sins are between you and your confessor, and God. No one else.

I’m just repeating what others have said. Yes it would be a lie because the sin did actually happen, even though you have received absolution and forgiveness for it.If I confess a sin and someone asks me if I did that particular sin, and i said no would i be lying, or would it be the truth since I’ve confessed it?
Eh, not really. Come the general judgment ever sin that every person ever committed is going to be made public in front of everyone. I hope we’re not actually going to have to see every sin people committed.Tell that person to mind his/her own business. Your sins are between you and your confessor, and God. No one else.
