Confession today please help

Is there a special act of contrition to say at your first confession after you have been or had a tribunal from prior marriages. Today is my first confession since I have been granted an annulment. We have confession today and are having a convalidation ceremonie next saturday. thank-you :confused:

No, there isn’t. Do you know one of the standard acts of confession? You can use one of those or you can typically express your contrition in your own words.

I say: O my God, I am truly sorry for having offended thee. In choosing to do wrong and failing to do good, I have sinned against Thee Whom I should love above all things. I do firmly intend, with the help of Thy Grace, to do my penance and avoid that which leads me into sin. Thy Son, our Lord Jesus Christ, suffered and died for me. For His Sake, forgive me my sins and save my soul.
