Confession whilst in illness?

Hi guys,

I’ve got a teensy little problem… well actually, it’s not that tiny. I’ve fallen ill with a massive headache that I don’t think I’ve ever had before, over the past week, still have it. It’s not nearly as intense as it was. Had two doctors’ opinions, could be a viral infection that I caught from someone else, or it could be something else.

Problem is, I am ITCHING to get to confession, really really badly, but I really don’t want to infect Father or anything should I have a viral infection. What should I do?

Plan to go as soon as it is possible, You could wear a medical mask in public or at least while in Church.

If you’re that sick get your priest to come to you - and wear a mask if need be.
