I have been taking the Eucharist while having commited mortal sins, so i went to confession today and told him all my mortals sins except one, that i had been eating the eucharist having commited a mortal sin. i forgot all about it, and i cant go until next saturday, i didn’t intentionally not tell him, i forgot and i get nervous. am i able to take the Eucharist tommorow at church?
 
Of course! If you honestly forgot to mention a sin, even a mortal one, it is forgiven and you can receive the Eucharist.

The only problem is if you intentionally don’t mention a mortal sin in confession.
 
You’re forgiven even for those you don’t remember, but it’d be good to mention it next time you go anyway 😉
 
While you receive the Eucharist at Mass tomorrow, pray for all those who are not as fervent in their understanding as you are. You are sound in your confession and give thanks for the graces received…God Bless…teachccd:)

It sounds like you just forgot. Happens to the best of us. Sometimes I forgot to mention something and remember on the car ride home.
 
The other posters have it right. I’d also add that it helps a LOT if you can take time before confession… Sometimes only 5-10 minutes, to prepare yourself, just like you would prepare yourself to receive any other sacrament. Go through the 10 commandments, the 7 deadly sins, etc, and that should help you recall any mortal sins you’ve committed since your last confession.

It also helps to pray for the strength to confess those sins and to make a good confession.

Just as with anything else, the more you put into it, the more you’ll get out of it! 👍

Pride, Sloth, Gluttony, Lust, Wrath, Greedy, Envy

But bear in mind they’re not called deadly because they’re inevitably grave or mortal in themselves, rather because they’re ‘root’ sins, leading to others.

If you’re angry at someone who robs you, for example, that would be venial (and probably very light venial at that).

You MUST confess having made sacrilegious Communions because it is a biggie. If you forgot to confess that, as the others have pointed out, you should not allow yourself to be unduly disturbed over it.

Even if it were not technically necessary, if I had failed to confess receiving unworthily, I would refrain from taking Communion until my next confession – which would be ASAP! Strictly a personal decision.

Sounds like you have a pretty good handle on things, though.
