Confessional and Angels ----New Look

It is time we add things that are biblical to our confessional. 😊 If the angels rejoice over one sinner being converted 🙆 , as it says in sacred scripture, why don’t we have a sign up that says ----Party Time starts after Confession — 🎶 (inside the confessional of course) Also have lots of pictures of saints and Angels rejoicing in a well lighted section of the confessional. Maybe we can change the name to Pascal mystery Room. Just having a little fun on the feasts of our Guardian Angels. 😇

Fair enough…however, in the confessional, I only want myself and the priest who is acting in the person of Christ. I don’t need, nor do I want, an audience, whether angels or other people deciding whether my reconciliation is something to rejoice or not…except for me and my confessor (again, acting in the person of Christ).

I will rejoice, and know that God rejoices in my reconciliation…that’s all I need.

I’d suggest a recording of Handel’s Hallelujah Chorus as you are leaving the confessional. For some of us, it would be more appropriate as we enter the confessional.
 
Our priest told us recently, Jesus was using 99 as a phrase so to speak…

There was no 99 people. Only Jesus was perfect.
 
I hope you all know I was just having fun. Jesus told us in sacred scripture about the great rejoicing that happens in heaven over one repentant sinner…
