But unwittingly doing the devil’s work, absolutely. Catherine Emmerich once had a vision of ordinary masons demolishing a church wall. None of them could see the significance of the work they were doing. Only from a way off was it possible to see the total effect.
Reminds me of the work of one political party in particular, that DEFINITELY cooperates with the devil/hells work…

Most of its members probably are not even aware that this is EXACTLY what they are promoting and permitting. 😔🙏🕊️

A hundred years from now, this will all be hindsight on our part…

How many of us will be like if I knew then what I know now? 😳

probably mostly good people who think it’s an actual Christian men’s group, like the Knights of Columbus.
Note that the French are the odd Freemasons out–in every other country, there is a requirement of an affirmation of faith, and the local holy book (Bible in Christian countries) is on the podium. The French, however . . .
It’s a secret society, so how can we know?
You can find it all on the web. They’re not very good at keeping their secrets secret.

And in the US, they’re not very serious about that anymore anyway.

I knew someone who was a mason before his short-lived conversion to mormonism.

When you reach a certain point, your bishop takes you in to tell you some solemn secrets or some such. He barely managed not to laugh, as they were lifted straight from the masons . . .

If I may offer a precision, it is so-called Grand Orient freemasonry which is dominant in Continental Europe especially in France and Italy, which forbids references to God and demands atheism from its members. This is why it is particularly unforgivable for Italian priests to be masons.

Anglo Saxon lodges forbid their members from attending Grand Orient lodges. However, what is often missed is the fact that, though seemingly more reasonable, the indifferentist position that “all religions are equally valid” leads ultimately to the conclusion that “none of the religions are valid” and that there is no God.
