This is my first post here on this forum. I am 23 and have just taken confirmation last year. I chose Saint Benedict as my patron saint during confirmation, but as I understand you can have more than one depending on your personal circumstance.

I have looked through this forum and through Google but I haven’t been able to find a precise listing of all the patron saints by definition of what they are patron of. I need to find another saint but other than browsing through the biography of each and every single saint that there has ever been I have not found a way to search for a saint that suits my particular needs.

I am looking for a saint(s) that is patron of a couple of things. If I need more than one saint for these things I need help with thats fine, I can totally be ok with that I’ll just buy more candles and medals.

This is what I need a patron for:
  • Pancreatitus/stomach issues that I have had for a long time and need healing of
  • Help with temptations of the flesh and binding the flesh to the cross
  • A saint who is patron of poverty or financial peril/need
  • A patron saint of something along the lines of listening to and caring for other peoples mental needs.
Like I said, I looked through Google and I found a few things but not enough information. If there is a place I could search for saints by what they are Patrons of that would be so great. Either way, any help is appreciated here and I thank you all in advance for your help.

:)thank you , these are great links. I thought I knew a lot about St Blaise but this page really was full of more info.
